The CW’s Arrowverse has only gotten bigger and better in the years since Arrow debuted on the network way back in 2012. Intensely popular from the get-go, Arrow spawned an entire connected universe of DC superheroes which has somehow managed to be better received than the big-budget film adaptations also owned by Warner Bros. The Flash, Supergirl, Vixen, Legends of Tomorrow, and Black Lightning all would likely have never been made on The CW if Arrow had failed....

Spider-Man: Far From Home assuaged all concerns about the MCU after Avenger’s: Endgame. It tells a solid standalone story while also giving a sneak peek on where the hero may end up in the future. Given that it is the second film the new Spider-Man series, one can’t help but compare it to the web slinger’s other sophomore efforts, particularly Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 2. That movie also followed up excellently on the classic 2002 film, and it still holds up to this day....
Apple announced at its special event on Tuesday the sixth-generation iPad mini with a new design based on the iPad Air 4 and iPad Pro. Disney’s live-action remakes can’t all be described as unmitigated successes, but maybe the surprise has been Aladdin which comes along and has a really surprising opening weekend. It’s one that critics are finding hard to justify giving any star rating because Guy Ritchie’s interpretation of everyone’s favorite street rat is such a mixed bag. There’s a lot to love about the film, but there’s just as much that doesn’t quite do the 1992 Disney animated classic justice....

Critics have some issues with the DC Extended Universe: from pacing, to the direction, to the script. It may be a fifty-fifty shot whether a DC fan will take issue with each release. Most critics and fans alike can agree on the casting decisions within the DCEU. Even though this franchise is still relatively new, audiences have been both delighted and annoyed with the casting decisions.
