Actor Jeff Ward has been added to the cast of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. in a “key” recurring role. This news arrives but a few weeks after filming officially began on season 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe-based ABC TV series. Guessing what Ward’s role could be in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. might be difficult, since not much is known of the plot for the show’s fifth season - other than what we can infer from the cliffhanger of the season 4 finale....
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s landmark episode 100 will welcome the return of Hive and Lash, two key characters from season 3. Hive was the immortal alien that inhabited the body of Brett Dalton’s Ward while Lash was the Inhuman monster that hunted other Inhumans. Both Hive and Lash were killed, which suggests that both characters may appear in flashbacks. Inhumans were a major part of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. during the show’s third season....

If there’s one thing kids love, it’s TV shows aimed directly at their age group. Whether it’s tales of transforming robots straight from Japan, or mystical creatures living in their own back yards, the show’s we watch as kids tend to be remembered as some of the best we ever witnessed.
