“Cosplay” is simply a fancy word for dressing up as a fictional character, which has been going on for quite some time. Purists will say that public cosplay had its roots in science fiction conventions of the 1930s, though others might argue that it’s been going on in festivals and religious gatherings for thousands of years. The custom of the ancient Greeks dressing up as gods, demigods, and heroes in Greek theatre goes back as far as recorded history, and indigenous cultures dressing up as characters from their myths goes back even further....

With such an extensive group of actors on the set of Vikings, not every casting decision can be a home run. Still, the ones who do stand out become longtime favorites and earn a significant place in the show’s history. Even if they’ve already left us, we never forget what these solid actors and actresses contributed to the storylines. For those who haven’t made their mark, it’s harder to be remembered fondly, if at all....

Netflix currently has no plans for continuing its Gilmore Girls revival. Fans may never get to return to Stars Hollow for another round, and they may never find out what happens after Rory’s big reveal at the end of Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life. Gilmore Girls originally ran on the WB, with is final season on The CW, from 2000 to 2007. The show focused on the life of a mother and daughter, Lorelai and Rory Gilmore, who lived in the quirky little town of Stars Hollow....

In an article from Bloomberg, Citigroup analyst Jim Suva states that Apple may soon announce a stock buyback of up to $90 billion. In addition, the company will also raise its dividend by 5% to 10%. Second-quarter results are due to close on April 28. While Apple’s repurchases have totaled $274.5 billion, $20.4 billion was just from the December quarter. There’s a lot more to be done as the Cupertino company has over $200 billion on its balance sheet and is authorized to purchase up to $315 billion of stock....

Jake Johnson will once again be stepping behind the bar in his next television role as the actor joins the cast of ABC’s fall 2019 series Stumptown.
