With Deadpool 2 upon us, the Merc with a Mouth is once again invading our homes with his savage quips and heroic acts of violence. Already the sequel to the 2016 superhero flick is on track to become the highest grossing R-rated picture in movie-making history, with presales crossing some serious thresholds. Created by the wonderfully twisted minds of Rob Liefeld and Fabian Nicieza, Deadpool debuted in 1991. His popularity didn’t hit its peak until just a couple years ago when Ryan Reynolds made the bold decision to fit into some uncomfortable spandex and take his signature wit to the streets....

It’s been a strong year at the movies, with Star Wars: The Force Awakens shattering box office records and acting as the proverbial cherry on the box office cake of 2016. But it’s time to put 2015 behind you and look forward to 2016. By adding heart to the characters and stakes to the narrative, Marvel added an expansion to their cinematic universe that fans could not get enough of....
