Back in 2004, Paramount decided to adapt the work of author Lemony Snicket (aka Daniel Handler) into the feature-length film A Series of Unfortunate Events. Based on the thirteen volume children’s book series of the same name, Handler’s macabre and bizarre tales of three recently orphaned children placed in the care of the scheming (and vicious) Count Olaf aimed to score big at the box office – especially with Jim Carrey playing Olaf....

[SPOILERS for those not caught up on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. ahead.] – With the Ghost Rider story behind them, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has pressed forward with a renewed focus on Life Model Decoys. The replica androids were introduced at the beginning of the season with Aida and have since taken on many new identities. One of the big reveals midway through the season was that May had been replaced with an LMD for a number of episodes without anyone knowing, but that is only the beginning....

Ghost Rider may yet return to defeat Sarge in Agents of SHIELD season 6. Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD has always been known for its complex, twisty plots. The writers have long seemed to delight in seeing if viewers can work out where the series is going; and although season 6 is shorter, reduced to just 13 episodes, it’s proved to be no exception to that rule. When Agents of SHIELD started back in 2013, it was essentially Marvel’s official tie-in TV series....

Alan Tudyk’s web series Con Man has found a new home at SYFY. Back in 2015, Firefly stars Alan Tudyk and Nathan Fillion, along with producer PJ Haarsma, launched a crowdfunding campaign for a web-series titled Con Man. After an overwhelming response from fans, the goal was met in four days and so the first season of the series came to be. The first season streamed on Vimeo, while the second season found a home at Comic-Con HQ, Comic-Con’s subscription streaming video service....

Today, the company announced it had raised $100 million in new funding based on a $2 billion dollar valuation. First reported by Venture Beat, the funding round was led by Accel. 1Password is already profitable as it has doubled its number of paying business customers to 90,000 and has $120 million in annual recurring revenue ARR....

When it comes to Marvel Comics, you can’t get much bigger and badder than the Mad Titan himself, Thanos. As viewers have seen in Avengers: Infinity War, Thanos is no joke and thanks to his Infinity Gauntlet, he is pretty much unstoppable. The entire combined might of the MCU’s Avengers, Wakanda, and Guardians of the Galaxy were unable to put him down before he was able to snap his fingers and cull half of all life from existence....

The Hulk is a massive creature, with strength that makes him one of the strongest superheroes on Earth and in the Marvel Universe. Most of The Hulk’s early appearances were guest roles in other superhero comics (his first series was 6 issues long.) Eventually, he began appearing in his own series, taking on his own adversaries. But for the most part, The Hulk has had the same power throughout his decades of comic book appearances....

[This is a review of Agent Carter season 2, episode 4. There will be SPOILERS.] – Last week’s return of Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper) on Agent Carter highlighted the new lighter tone of humor to the show since it moved from New York City to Los Angeles in season 2. However ‘Better Angels’ also saw a return to the basic premise of Agent Carter season 1, with Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) working against the SSR rather than with her fellow agents - though the villain of season 2, Whitney Frost (Wynn Everett), has already proven to be a strong antagonist....

Warning: SPOILERS for Agents of SHIELD season 4, episode 12, “Hot Potato Soup” ahead - On the one hand, the reveal of the Watchdogs’ Superior on this week’s Agents of SHIELD is something of a let-down; given all the frenzied speculation surrounding this mysterious individual’s identity – not to mention all the weeks of build-up to it – the final result was rather anti-climactic. On the other hand, however, what the character lacks in sizzling dramatics is made up for by what he brings to the table narratively – particularly how he interacts with and reinforces who is now clearly the show’s newest nemesis, Dr....

We have already seen some really amusing stories about how people have been using AirTags since they were introduced earlier this year. However, an YouTuber decided to do something bold and sent three AirTags to different places. One of them was sent to none other than Tim Cook at Apple Park. YouTube channel MegaLag sent one AirTag addressed to Tim Cook and another to Elon Musk. Not satisfied with just those two adventures, he also sent another AirTag to North Korea....

With 21 movies considered to be a part of the MCU, the overall ratings and reception vary from movie to movie. At least according to Rotten Tomatoes, none of the MCU movies have done worse than 66% fresh. While each person has their favorite movies and not everyone is going to agree on a ranking, Rotten Tomatoes can give a good view of the overall consensus of each of these films....

TV couples. We have our favorites. We even have our favorites out of the two people in said couple. Sometimes we like the husband or wife just a bit more, or sometimes we like them equally. Preferences differ from couple to couple. We love them in dramas, sitcoms, action/adventures, and just about any other genre. We relate to them on certain levels, we want to be them, and we even learn from their mistakes....

If you ever listened to your school teachers, you’d know that leaving something to the last minute is a huge no-no. After all, will it truly be your best effort if you haven’t thought about it and planned far in advance? As it turns out, the real world doesn’t always afford you the luxury of time. You have to think and act on your feet, as a host of things CAN impact how and when you do something....

Netflix’s I Think You Should Leave is essentially the kind of sketch comedy show that is made for hardcore sketch comedy fans. Created by former SNL cast member Tim Robinson and former SNL writer Zach Kanin, ITYSL is filled to the brim with sketches that range from the mundane to the bizarre. Of course, peppered among all of the quality sketches are a few that while still hilarious, will make anyone watching them instantly feel kind of embarrassed for the characters....

There may be something wrong with us. We’re excited for the new Captain America movie just like most fans, and adapting Civil War is a good idea, but there’s a shameful part of us that really wants an adaptation of that Civil War moment where some idiot told Captain America he deserved to lose the “war” because he didn’t watch stupid videos on YouTube or know what Myspace was. (Of course, that was 2006, when Myspace was still a thing, so you’d have to update it to Snapchat or something....
