The Marvel Cinematic Universe is one of the biggest mega franchises that has ever existed. Before The Avengers, no one knew that a shared movie universe could have such incredible mainstream success. The franchise(s) have mined the Marvel comics universe to create a huge mythos of its own. It features tons of alien races, evil organizations, and fun comic book physics. The universe also has more than its fair share of cool weapons....

One of the most popular “reality” TV shows that debuted in recent years, Storage Wars is an extremely easy watch. All you have to do is sit back and observe people you’ve come to know buy storage lockers, and then wait to see if their purchase pays off. Due to the show being so reliant on the personalities of its stars, it is of paramount importance that damaging images don’t spread....

Luke Cage is more popular than ever before. In this way, he joins other comics legends that have been around for decades, but did not have widespread popularity until they had a successful movie or TV series. For instance, characters like Captain America and Iron Man were not hugely popular when the Marvel Cinematic Universe started. They were, frankly, the characters Marvel still had film rights to, as they had sold off the rights to the then most-popular characters like Spider-Man, the X-Men, and the Fantastic Four....

It’s been more than a decade since the WB and UPN networks fused together to become the CW. Time enough for the network to air its share of crappy shows. It’s not that the CW is a wretched hive of scum and bad TV. It’s given us Supernatural, The Flash, Black Lightning, Riverdale, The Vampire Diaries, iZombie, and Veronica Mars. It’s also offered a ton of forgettable teens soaps one critic summed up as “because they do not aim particularly high, they pretty much hit what they aim at....

While the Marvel Cinematic Universe is currently dominating Marvel’s slate of movie, as well as the superhero genre as a whole, the films in the series aren’t without their fair share of problems. However, fans tend to overlook them in favor of the franchise’s massive scale, failing to consider the hard work, effort, and good or bad times put in by actors of the MCU. Don’t feel bad, though, as we can instead look at the other movies Marvel has produced over the years, whether it’s the ongoing X-Men franchise or the multiple attempts at a Spider-Man or Fantastic Four series....

A comic relies solely on his own energy and stage presence to command and capture an audience. It should come as little surprise, then, that a number of comedians who begin on the bare stand-up stage go on to become successful actors, and sometimes, even major stars....

As a general rule, movies take a long time to make. Production and shooting alone can last years, while the development period—the process spent writing scripts, casting, hiring crew and putting together anything else that will appear in the film—can drag on for decades. Nominations for the 2018 Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards have just been revealed, as announced by Olivia Munn and Niecy Nash. The ceremony recognizes outstanding acting in both film and television, and SAG Awards nominations are voted on by SAG members themselves. First, the Motion Picture and Television Nominating Committees (a group of 2500 SAG members chosen at random each year) vote to choose the nominees, and then active SAG members choose their favorites....

2000’s X-Men film may not hold up so well when compared with more modern superhero marvels, but there is no denying that it launched the comic book movie landscape as we know it. This film embraced everything awesome about the X-Men, without being a slave to the source material and the results really were pretty great. X2: X-Men United continued to build on this legacy and, in the eyes of many, remains the best X-film ever made....

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is the busiest man in Hollywood. Between updating his millions of fans on social media, appearing as a regular in the world of WWE, and generally being the nicest celebrity on the planet, it’s a wonder how he stars in any movies at all. Yet, Johnson’s name is seemingly attached to every major Hollywood production going. As one of the most bankable actor’s working today, having The Rock star in your movie all but guarantees that audiences will show up in droves....

While the proposed Deadpool animated series from Donald Glover was cancelled in early 2018, the character’s co-creator remains hopeful that a cartoon version will materialize in the future. Deadpool has already conquered the big screen as a massive hit franchise, with Ryan Reynolds starring in both the 2016 live-action debut (not counting the unfortunate appearance in X-Men Origins: Wolverine) and the 2018 sequel - as well as the recently released PG-13 cut, Once Upon a Deadpool....
