With the election only weeks away, it’s increasingly difficult to turn on a TV without seeing Donald Trump’s distinctive orange-ish face. But while his foray into politics has certainly increased his visibility, it’s far from the first time that Trump’s been on screen. The tycoon is famous for his reality show The Apprentice, a twist on the classic talent contest that has Trump judging contestants’ business acumen rather than, say, singing ability....

Pixar Animation Studios has been around since February 3, 1986. Since the studio was founded, it has found a way to make its characters beloved by fans all around the world. The studio has so far made 20 animation feature films, all of which have been advertised as a Disney Pixar partnership. The Walt Disney Company itself has become an incredible powerhouse over the last several years. Disney was founded in the 1920s, but in the last decade, it has almost gained a monopoly on the movie industry by acquiring companies like Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm, and recently 20th Century Fox....

Debuting back in 2005, the show gradually captured audiences’ attention and became a fan favorite. Each week brought new love interests, conflicts, and new hookups. Ahead of Adobe Max 2021, Adobe has announced that Camera Raw support is coming to Photoshop for iPad. Camera Raw files can be easily adjusted on the go and are imported as ACR Smart Objects. This method allows users to open their edited file in Photoshop for Mac or Windows and still have access to their embedded raw file and any adjustments made to it. [This is a review of Agent Carter season 2, episode 5. There will be SPOILERS.] – Last week, Agent Carter was an arguably more serious episode for the series as ‘Smoke & Mirrors’ delved into the back stories of both our heroine Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) as well as season 2’s main antagonist, Whitney Frost (Wynn Everett). Now in this week’s episode, ‘The Atomic Job’, Agent Carter capitalizes on the history of Whitney to explore how the effects of Zero Matter have manifested in her need for more power and to further experiment with the extent of her abilities....

When a character dies in our favorite show or movie, it’s often a time of shock and confusion for us as viewers. Sometimes for actors too, when they are left in the dark about their alter ego’s demise until they read the script. Story deaths are a necessary part of any high stakes plot to keep things tense and engaging. But other times a character’s death is necessary due to what’s happening behind the scenes....

Based on the popular video games, the hit Netflix series Castlevania blends the beautiful hand drawn style of anime with the adventure and intrigue of a medieval fantasy epic. No Star Trek actor ever got up in the morning thinking “Gee, I hope my agent’s going to sign me up for something awful today.” But it happens. Actors end up in bad roles for lots of reasons. The project sounded great, but the execution was awful. They need to earn a paycheck and nobody offered them Hamlet that week. It’s a walk-on part or a guest role so they didn’t have to worry about the production as a whole....

Apple will be the first to use TSMC’s new 3nm chips for its M2 Pro processor, expected to be available with new Macs later this year. Previous reports suggested the manufacturer would delay production of this technology, but it has now reiterated that the 3nm expansion will maintain the original plan. According to Taiwan’s Commercial Times (via MacRumors), TSMC is preparing 3nm chips for a number of companies. Although Apple will be the first to take advantage of the technology, Intel is also planning to expand its use in the second half of next year to produce chips in processors, including Super Micro, Huida, Qualcomm, MediaTek, Broadcom, and more, as revealed by industry insiders to the publication....

Celebrities tend to be idolized in our culture, almost to the point where we stop seeing them as fellow humans and only as the symbols that they represent. Logically, this would also apply to our view of celebrity couples, leading us to forget that their relationships are just like ours. Sure, the members of their relationships may be famous, but they still go through the same basic struggles of every other couple....

Netflix’s A Series of Unfortunate Events will come to its depressing conclusion in 2019. Adapting the final four books from Daniel Handler (written under pen name Lemony Snicket), the eight-episode season 3 will finish the tale of the Baudelaire orphans - Violet (Malina Weissman), Klaus (Louis Hynes) and Sunny (Presley Smith) - and their plight against the villainous Count Olaf (Neil Patrick Harris), once again narrated by Snicket himself (Patrick Warburton)....

The new year just got a whole lot more unfortunate with Netflix announcing the release date for the final season of A Series of Unfortunate Events for 2019. The show is now in its third season, which will cover the final three books (The Grim Grotto, The Penultimate Peril, and The End) of Lemony Snicket’s beloved series. Season 1 covered books 1-4 and season 2 followed books 5-9 with two episodes dedicated to each book....
