The Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 6 first look photo reveals Mack (Henry Simmons) will step up to be the new S.H.I.E.L.D. director, filling the hole left by the departure of Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) at the end of season 5. It doesn’t look like Coulson will return any time soon (unless you count Gregg as an episode director) - the last we saw of the former director, he was vacationing in Tahiti with Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen) to relax while waiting for his impending doom....

American Horror Story has had a lot of ups and downs. Its earliest work was superbly demented, with creativity and gratuitous everything. However, later seasons had diminishing returns. The show yielded to plotless sensationalism at the hotel, and then parodied Paranormal Witness with a disappointing finale, seemingly unsure of itself.
