9 Video Game Franchises That Ended Too Soon And 7 That Need To Go

Even more than the movie industry, video games love to create franchises. If a game does well and finds an audience, it’s almost certainly going to have a sequel (or several) planned. The occasional standalone title might be released but even the most narrative heavy games usually get a follow-up. The result is, usually, a best-case scenario for the studio making the game and the fans playing it. The franchise keeps making money and gamers get the stories, characters, and gameplay that they enjoy....

Disney, in particular, is spearheading these efforts with their lineup of classic animated films that are set to be remade. The first in this plan is The Jungle Book directed by Jon Favreau....

10 Great Mcu Villains Who Defy The Franchise S Villain Problem

There’s an age-old criticism that the Marvel Cinematic Universe has a “villain problem,” which is to say that while its movies have fleshed-out, well-developed heroes whose stories are interesting to watch, the villains are less memorable. Their plans are vague, their motivations are vague, they’re pretty easily defeated in a third-act battle sequence, and they’re virtually indistinguishable from one another. All the great comic book movie villains – from Heath Ledger’s Joker to Alfred Molina’s Doc Ock – have been in non-MCU movies....

10 Most Heartbreaking Moments On How I Met Your Mother

In this list, we’ve taken a break from the norm and included the heartbreaks the audience felt at a storyline, not just how the characters felt....

10 Ways Endgame Could Connect To The New Phase Four Mcu Movies

Kevin Feige and Marvel showed up at Comic-Con International in San Diego and revealed their entire plans for Phase Four of the MCU. Unlike the past, where a Phase would last for four years, this one only lasts two but includes both movies in theaters as well as series on Disney+. 11 Marvel Movie Scenes You Didn T Know Were Improvised

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is known for pumping out fantastic films on a tight schedule, each one packed with quotable quips and intense moments. Known for their comedy backgrounds and goofing around at conventions and off-set, it’s not surprising that many of the stars of the MCU play around in front of the camera as well....

13 Best Artificial Intelligence Movie Characters Of All Time

They’re great storytelling tools that allow us to reflect on topics like our relationship with technology, and what really constitutes “sentience.” And there have been so many truly excellent A.I. characters over the years. Narrowing down this list was definitely a challenge, and there were plenty of others who could have made the cut. But when push came to shove, these are the ones that really stood out....

13 Things You Need To Know About Preacher

One of the most anticipated new series for the summer season, AMC’s Preacher promises to be one helluva ride. A drinkin’, smokin’, bar-brawlin’ preacher with a past, an Irish vampire with a drug habit, a woman who can kick any ass she chooses, and a small Texas town where they all come together. That alone would make for an incredible show, but Preacher doesn’t stop there. Supernatural elements, powers, mysteries and uber-violence – it’s all a powerful (and entirely novel) mix....

20 Fan Redesigns Of Unexpected Dreamworks Couples

DreamWorks animation has been on the rise in recent years, putting in a solid effort to compete with what many consider the gold standard of animation, Pixar. Though they’ve been around since 1998, starting with Antz, it was Shrek in 2001 that really put them on the map. The satirical take on Disney-style fairy tales was a huge hit with kids and adults alike and fuelled hope in the industry that there was room for more serious competitors in the world of animation....
