Though this mania for all things gritty and gruesome seems to be hitting a fever pitch, true crime has been a source of fascination and entertainment, making it a favorite American pastime at least since the 1966 publication of Truman Capote’s landmark novel, In Cold Blood....

Deleted scenes on home releases of movies were almost unheard of in the days of VHS tapes due to the limited amount of space that was available and there being no easy way to access the clips without waiting until the movie was over. It wasn’t until DVDs became popular that you started to see deleted scenes being included as extra features. These would go on to be a huge selling point of the home releases, to the point where fans would accuse movies of saving good material in order to get people to buy the DVDs....

Adapting Charles’ Addams 1938 comic strip from The New Yorker, The Addams Family hoped to follow in the footsteps of ABC’s ’60s TV series and the 1977 movie (based on the same show). Originally put into production by Orion Pictures, the seemingly doomed movie eventually changed hands over to Paramount....

There were some strange decisions made with Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, especially when it comes to the continuity of the Harry Potter world. However, when looking at the entire franchise as a whole, it is interesting to see more of the relationship between Gellert Grindelwald and Albus Dumbledore, which until this point, was just told in exposition in the Harry Potter books and movies. However, while the full story of the two great wizards’ relationship is yet to fully unfold, much more was discovered between the two men’s past from their close friendship as young men to their intense rivalry as powerful leaders....

If you had suggested that the main actors behind franchises like James Bond and Mad Max would feature in blink-and-you’ll-miss-it Star Wars cameos, they would probably assume you’d just touched down from a galaxy far, far away. However, Star Wars is big business these days and big businesses tends to attract big talent. Some have already hit the big time, while others might be on the cusp of it. Where once unknown actors could be found occupying the various background roles of stormtroopers, X-wing pilots, and Imperial Guards, now many of these roles are being taken up by rising stars and established names eager to get involved in all things Star Wars....

Although it is pretty well-known that Voldemort is one of the most evil wizards to have ever lived in the Harry Potter universe. The movie touches on a few abilities that the Dark Lord is capable of, such as Parseltongue and his use of the Unforgivable Curses. However, the books and J.K Rowling’s Pottermore website offer much more insight into the character and his abilities. Among the few briefly shown in the film, there are many more abilities Tom Riddle mastered in his long lifetime - after all, he was incredibly intelligent and driven....
