You may have heard that a new Blair Witch movie – called, appropriately enough, Blair Witch – is now out in theaters. What you may not have known, however, is just how extensive the franchise’s narrative reach has been up until now. Right from day one, back in the summer of 1999, the little indie film known as The Blair Witch Project had a massive narrative footprint, with faux documentaries and an online catalogue of “evidence” predating the movie’s arrival, with comic book and print anthologies immediately following it....

After almost a year since Apple introduced the first M1 Macs, the list of software that supports the company’s silicon chip is only growing. Now, Ableton Live, an app for electronic music production, is bringing support for the M1 Macs with the latest beta. According to a blog post, Live 11.1 adds native support for Apple computers running on the M1 silicon chip. Not only that, but this release will also come with a number of small improvements, including an updated Shifter device, which adds a new model for real-time monophonic pitch shifting, as well as delay, an envelope section, and LFO and glide functionality, too....

It was announced in May that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 6 was pushed back to the summer of 2019, and now Channing Dungey, the president of ABC Entertainment, has given an explanation for the change. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. continues to be the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s flagship TV show, and it somehow always narrowly escapes cancellation season after season, despite having uneven ratings. A lot went down in the finale of the show’s fifth season, and it’s lead to endless amounts of speculation as to what season 6 may have in store....

Television shows tend to require a suspension of belief from their audiences. Some storylines just don’t make sense, no matter how hard someone tries to justify them. When Naruto ended in 2017, fans were excited to have its sequel series, Boruto, start in the same year. iPhone users in India will finally be able to take advantage of 5G connectivity starting next week. In a statement to The IndianExpress, Apple confirmed that a new beta of iOS 16.2 next week will bring 5G support to iPhone users in India using Airtel or Jio networks. Apple has faced pressure from the Indian government to launch 5G support for iPhone users in the country. The company conceded a few weeks ago, saying that it would roll out 5G support with a software update in December....
