The heart of Buffy the Vampire Slayer was its characters and the relationships they shared with one another throughout the show’s seven seasons. Street Fighter, released by Capcom in 1987, was a highly influential game that itself drew inspiration from games such as Yie-Ar Kung Fu and Karate Champ. The fighting game was a success, but it wasn’t until 1991’s Street Fighter II that the game became a revolution that’d forever change the entertainment landscape. The numbering system and pseudo-sequels have kept the core number of Street Fighter games down to just five (released in 2016), but the number is severely misleading....

It followed their relationships, career paths, and personal struggles by showing that the same things continue to happen in life as we get older, television just chooses to ignore it. By enjoying time with sardonic Dorothy, vivacious Blanche, lovable Rose, and wise-cracking Sophia, we learned age was just a number....

That Keanu trailer, about Key & Peele posing as gangsters to rescue a kitten (named Keanu) from some actual gangsters, is the best thing on the internet right now. It also sounds like a sketch more than an actual movie. Will they be able to tretch the idea out for 90 minutes and change and still keep it funny? We don’t know but we’re willing to find out. This comedic duo was responsible for the best sketch comedy show since Chappelle’s Show, and produced some of the most hilarious and culturally relevant sketches of the last few years....

It’s a tough job to follow on from the mind-bending scale of Endgame but someone had to do it. Spider-Man: Far From Home is the last movie in the MCU’s incredibly dense third phase and Jon Watts, Tom Holland, et al have done a great job in creating a smaller-scale movie that’s got the storytelling stones of a much larger movie. The real questions going into Spidey’s second solo outing, however, were all about what’s next....

It’s no secret that the Star Wars prequels aren’t everyone’s favorite. Episodes I-III are so derided that it’s hard to find any Star Wars-related discourse where the dialogue doesn’t take a detour to disparage George Lucas and the prequels. The prequel hatred can be so complete that even before release of The Force Awakens, there were calls from some fans to either de-canonize the prequels altogether, or at least ignore them in the future development of new Star Wars content....

It’s not exactly a groundbreaking statement to say that Hollywood has an ageism problem.
