Get the first look at two new cast members in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 6 photos. After a rough start, Marvel TV and ABC have found a consistent level of success with the series now. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. continues to reinvent itself to stay fresh and deliver new and surprising storylines for fans. After dealing with robots, demons, and time travel, the main plot of the current sixth season is still unfolding. While there has been the perplexing wrinkle of Clark Gregg’s new character Sarge on Earth, the search for Fitz by Daisy Johnson and Simmons has put much of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s story in space.
The majority of the most recent episode took place in space as Fitz and Enoch tried to gamble their way to freedom, while Daisy and Simmons lost their minds thanks to some alien edibles. The intergalactic storyline may not be close to its end though, as one of the new characters for the season Malachi (Christopher James Baker) was just introduced and took Fitz. We also know that the mercenary Izel (Karolina Wydra) is still waiting to make her debut, but now there are two new cast members set to appear imminently.
New photos from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. have been revealed by TVLine that offer up the first looks at Anthony Michael Hall and Sherri Saum. The addition of Hall confirms previous rumors that he had joined the series for an undisclosed role. The two newcomers to the series can be seen below, with Hall playing Mr. Kitson and Saum appearing as Atarah.
The photos themselves don’t reveal too much about the two new characters, but thankfully there are additional details about them. Mr. Kitson is the ruler of the alien gaming planet that was the setting for the most recent episode, and also the man for which it is named. With all of the trouble the S.H.I.E.L.D. team caused in his empire, he will likely be on the lookout for them. Meanwhile, Atarah is described as an aggressive Chronicom who wants something from the agents.
With even more cosmic characters set to be introduced, the search for Fitz could lead the team into a larger story that plays out over the rest of the season. Kitson would appear to be a villain for the group, while Atarah could become an ally depending on what she needs from them. Since the season only has 13 episodes, it hopefully won’t be too long before we get to meet these characters.
