The supernatural is set to be unleashed upon the Marvel Cinematic Universe in a big way in less than two months with the release of Doctor Strange. The Sorcerer Supreme introduces magic into the MCU for the first time, with some potential for big changes as a result. Before that happens, however, the small-screen Marvel Universe will see its own introduction of the supernatural with the introduction of Ghost Rider to the ABC show Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

The version of Ghost Rider appearing on the show may be unfamiliar to some viewers who have not been following the comics for the last few years. Rather than the motorcycle-riding Johnny Blaze, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. opted to go with a more recent iteration: Robby Reyes and his haunted muscle car. The show’s marketing team has been focusing their efforts on showing off the newest addition to the show, with a couple of recent promos showing Reyes suiting up and Daisy getting ready to take Ghost Rider on. Now they’ve released another promo video, and this one shows Ghost Rider’s car in action.

Debuted via the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Twitter account, the promo shows Daisy taking on some bad guys before being interrupted by the appearance of one ominous-looking car. One of the bad guys pulls out a rocket launcher and… well, the results are probably not what he was hoping for. Check out the full video above.

The video is the longest from the upcoming season so far, clocking in at over two minutes. It also sets up what promises to be the main rivalry of the season, with an “incredibly powerful” Daisy poised to take on the Reyes and his ride. Based on this clip, it looks like Daisy will have her work cut out for her. Ghost Rider’s car survives a direct impact from a rocket launcher without being any worse for wear, and manages to look extremely cool in the process.

Daisy taking on Ghost Rider doesn’t mean she’s joining back up with her old S.H.I.E.L.D. pals, though. Instead, actress Chloe Bennet has said that Daisy is “Robin Hood-ing it” as she goes rogue and works on her own, following the events of last season. Will Daisy manage to take down Ghost Rider before he causes too much destruction? Will S.H.I.E.L.D. manage to take down Daisy before she does the same? No doubt those will be two central questions of the upcoming season, and audiences will get a chance to find out starting with tonight’s premiere.
