The women of the Marvel Cinematic Universe come together for an A-Force film fan-made poster. Avengers: Endgame was the culmination of everything that’s transpired in the franchise since its inception in 2008 via Robert Downey Jr. and Jon Favreau’s Iron Man, and as such, it brought together almost every single key player in the series. This led to never-before-seen team-ups, including one that involved all the female heroes for an epic shot that was almost cut. The bit reinvigorated the public’s clamor to see an all-women movie from Marvel Studios, and one fan has visualized how its one-sheet could look like in a new illustration.

Picking up after the catastrophic events of Avengers: Infinity War, Endgame pit Earth’s Mightiest Heroes and their allies against Thanos and his minions for an epic battle. At one point, the heroes played hot potato with the secondary Infinity Gauntlet with all six Infinity Stones in order to keep it away from the Mad Titan until Spider-Man handed it off to Captain Marvel. Peter Parker was initially worried how she could get past the hoards of bad guys in her path, but his fears were quelled when Carol Danvers’ fellow female heroes came in for backup, making for one of the coolest shots in the film.

With that tease in mind, digital artist awedeope.arts created a mock-up poster for a potential A-Force film. The one-sheet uses the similar Avengers logo, but this time, only the female heroes are featured such as Captain Marvel, Rescue, Scarlet Witch, Valkyrie, Gamora, Shuri, Okoye, Mantis, Nebula and Wasp. Meanwhile, MCU’s inaugural female hero, Black Widow who died in Endgame, looms in the background. Check out the cool one-sheet below.

An all-female Marvel Studios film has already been pitched to president Kevin Feige, and got the support of Scarlett Johansson, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, and Brie Larson. The studio executive sounds optimistic about this possibility whenever asked, and even claims that the MCU will soon have more female than male heroes. There’s no concrete plans for the project thus far, but with nothing confirmed beyond Spider-Man: Far From Home, it’s possible that a version of this film is in the cards for the franchise. After all, they already have a solid plan for at least the next five years.

Admittedly, not everyone was thrilled with the all-female scene in Endgame for varying reasons. Some felt it was pandering especially since there’s yet to be an official commitment to making the film, others, meanwhile, simply didn’t like seeing it. It’s no secret that the MCU has been slow to diversify their roster of characters. A majority of their key players are male, and in this day and age where people demand equal representation in media, it’s an important issue to talk about. The good thing is, there’s an actual shift to make up for these shortcomings. In the last couple of years, fans got Black Panther, Ant-Man & The Wasp and Captain Marvel - all of them did well for Disney.

With regard solely to having female characters at the forefront of the MCU, Captain Marvel is expected to lead the charge moving forward. And despite meeting her end in Avengers: Endgame, Natasha Romanoff is finally getting the long overdue Black Widow standalone movie with Cate Shortland at the helm. But for A-Force, the most important element is a narrative tate justifies seeing all these heroes together, otherwise it’ll feel pretentious. In any case, it doesn’t seem like it’ll be that difficult to ask all these actresses to reprise their roles for the film, considering they all look like they get along with each other.
