90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days is a series that prequels TLC’s hit show 90 Day Fiancé. Before all of the visa drama and the 90 days time frame for marriage, Before the 90 Days documents the couples meeting each other for the first time in person as they travel far and wide to meet their online loves. Geoffrey works as a landlord and owns several properties while Varya is a radio host who moved from Siberia to the big city of Moscow. They originally met via an international dating website once the country boy set up a profile.
During the early preview of the newest episode of 90 Day Fiancé, Geoffrey opened up to the cameras that he had not totally been honest with his Russian beauty. The newest reality star went on to explain he considered himself a bad boy growing up and got in trouble for dealing drugs when he was younger because his family was poor. The father of three claimed that fatherhood changed him for the better and he is hoping that Varya can embrace the man he has become, not the man he used to be. The Nashville native also has yet to tell his future fiancée about his other serious charges that include aggravated kidnapping, domestic assault, interference with an emergency call, and vandalism. Geoffrey’s ex had a restraining order against him that had been extended twice while his third wife filed paperwork to fain full custody of their child.
Fans have been introduced to a kinder side of Geoffrey in the first two episodes as cameras watch as he broke down over the loss of his fourth son, Kazhem. The grieving father explained that he was left broken-hearted and did not think he would be able to find love again. Before the show aired fans had read about Geoffrey’s past and are worried, he may act out soon, not being able to hold together the stress of a long-distance relationship.
As the sneak peek ended, Geoffrey was seen being dropped off at the airport by his two older sons, Pax, and Dakota who hope their father is not being played by the younger woman. Varya was shown telling her friends that it was a bonus she fell in love with an American man, leading viewers to wonder if the Russian already has a plan in mind once she receives a green card. Geoffrey is due back in court on March 26, 2020 and some fans have decided to boycott the show becuase they disagree with TLC for allowing to continue on with his story.
