Ah, the blush of new love, celebrity-style! Each year, there’s a collective obsession from us fans to see which stars have decided to couple up for a hot and heavy romance. It’s a “live vicariously” kind of thing.
In 2018, we are already off to a good start with some seriously adorable pairings. From singers and actors to reality TV stars, we are totally rooting for these confirmed couples that they’ve found lasting love, as they post Instagram pics from their exotic vacations or just goofing around with one another. Naturally, the official “yes, we’re an item,” is what we hope for, but of course, there are some who are far more private about their personal lives to share their feelings with the public (we get it), even if all the evidence proves they are together.
Then there are just the rumors about some celebs who might be hooking up. There might be a couple of canoodling or kissing photos, but the stars have yet to let us know for sure if they are dating. We’re not sure why we care so much, but it always warms our hearts when they do seem to make it official. The entertainment business is a hard one to maintain a long-term relationship, but there’s always hope it’ll work out.

LUCY HALE AND RILEY SMITH
Former Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale and her Life Sentence co-star Riley Smith are an item!
While the couple hasn’t made it official with Instagram posts yet, they were spotted smooching it up on Valentine’s Day after what looked like a romantic dinner in L.A.
“She leaned over to kiss and hug [Smith] a few times during this period and was also seen sucking his lollipop that the restaurant gives to their customers for after the meal,” an eyewitness told Us Weekly.
Hale and Smith star in the CW show Life Sentence, which premiered March 7. It follows Hale’s character after she finds out she has been cured of a terminal illness.
“It was extraordinarily scary to start something new and lead the charge, but boy am I glad my heart led me here,” the actress wrote on Instagram. We bet!
JANUARY JONES AND NICK VIALL (RUMORED)
Rumor has it Mad Men actress January Jones and The Bachelor alum Nick Viall may be dating, or at least working toward it.
Although a source told People that they are just friends, reports started last year that they were seeing each other. Viall even joined in Jones’ birthday celebration earlier this year.
Jones, who has admitted she loves the Bachelor franchise and how it’s a “dream” of hers to be on the show, opened up to late-night host James Corden last November about how Viall’s “team” reached out to her about doing the Lip-Sync Battle against him.
“You don’t know if you like him or if he’s a scumbag – and I think that’s why I’m attracted to him, maybe?” Jones joked. We’ll see how this one pans out.
MICHELLE WILLIAMS AND ANDREW YOUMANS
Actress Michelle Williams has also found love again with financial consultant Andrew Youmans.
The two were first spotted together last summer while they were in Rome, where Williams was filming All the Money in the World. Then, at this year’s Golden Globes, the actress wore a diamond ring that looked a lot like an engagement ring. When asked about it, she told People it was simply “beautiful jewelry.”
A source also told E! News, “They are very serious and were right away. She has kept the relationship under wraps and made a point not to bring him to public events.”
Williams’s love life has been tinged with sadness. She and her late partner Heath Ledger have a daughter, but the relationship did not last. Ledger passed from an overdose in 2008. She also has dated Jason Segal.
CHRIS MARTIN AND DAKOTA JOHNSON (RUMORED)
Rumors Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin are seriously dating have indeed heated up.
The two attended Ellen DeGeneres’ 60th birthday party together in February, and pictures were snapped of the couple, as they held hands.
The Fifty Shades actress and the musician got the tongues wagging when they were spotted on a mid-October sushi date in Los Angeles. Then earlier this year, the two were once again seen grabbing a bit in Malibu.
“They had dinner with friends. They also hung out at Chris’ house and went for a beach walk. They didn’t see each other over the holidays and seem excited to be catching up now,” an insider told People at the time.
Since his split with wife Gwyneth Paltrow, Martin has been romantically linked with Jennifer Lawrence.
SHAILENE WOODLEY AND BEN VOLAVOLA
Big Little Lies actress Shailene Woodley and rugby player Ben Volavola are definitely hot and heavy.
Woodley apparently met the New Zealander when she was in Fiji filming her upcoming survival movie Adrift and was seen supporting him at a rugby match last year.
“Shailene was there to watch Ben’s rugby game with some of her girlfriends. She stayed the entire game. She looked really happy [and] wasn’t hiding from anyone,” a source told Us Weekly at the time. “They seem really comfortable with one another. Ben always had his arm around Shailene.”
The actress only made their relationship official in January when she shared photos them kissing on Instagram. The two lovebirds recently traveled to France and were reportedly all smiles during their PDA-filled European vacation.
DAVID HARBOUR AND ALISON SUDOL (RUMORED)
Stranger Things star David Harbour and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them actress Alison Sudol have something of a coupley vibe about them.
While neither has commented on their romance, the two were thick as thieves as Harbour made the award season circuit earlier this with his hit Netflix show.
The two were first spotted at the Golden Globes, then the Critics Choice Awards, where Harbour took home the award for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. He was seen kissing the actress after his name was announced. They were also photographed at the BAFTA Los Angeles Tea Party and left the party together, according to E! News.
Harbour was previously engaged to actress Maria Thayer, who starred with him in the 2009 film State of Play.
EMMA WATSON AND CHORD OVERSTREET
Harry Potter alum Emma Watson seems to have a new man in her life – Glee star Chord Overstreet.
The actress was spotted with Overstreet last month, walking hand in hand in a sweet little stroll. Watson looked simply besotted with the cute actor and musician, smiling up at him.
“They have been dating for a little bit now, but it’s still pretty new,” a source told People. “They met through friends. They might seem like an odd match but they actually have very similar personalities.”
Watson has tried to maintain privacy when it comes to her personal life. She once told Vanity Fair, “I can’t talk about my boyfriend in an interview and then expect people not to take paparazzi pictures of me walking around outside my home. You can’t have it both ways.”
Watson split with her last boyfriend, tech manager William “Mack” Knight, last November.
JUSTIN THEROUX AND AUBREY PLAZA (RUMORED)
This is probably a stretch, but Justin Theroux and Aubrey Plaza were recently pictured hanging out in New York last month and started that dating rumor mill a-turnin'.
The two were strolling the sidewalk and looking friendly, but a source told Daily Mail, “They are friends. They went for a walk around after meeting and discussing a potential work project.”
This is probably true because Plaza has been with director Jeff Baena since 2011. An insider told People, “She is still with Jeff and [she and Theroux] were meeting to discuss a potential project.” Justin and Aubrey have apparently been friends for awhile. He guest starred on Parks and Recreation as Leslie Knope’s love interest.
Theroux recently split with wife Jennifer Aniston after two and a half years of marriage, so expect more dating rumors to swirl around The Leftovers actor.
CAMILA CABELLO AND MATTHEW HUSSEY
It looks like singer Camila Cabello and dating coach Matthew Hussey have a pretty hot thing going on.
The couple was first spotted on a beach in Mexico, packing on the PDA, kissing on rocks and holding hands. A source told E! News, “Camila recently started dating Matthew. It wasn’t something she expected, but she knew of him and really enjoys his work.”
The source added, “She has been following him for a while and was a fan, but it took her by surprise that she has gotten to know him on a deeper level.” While the singer has not officially made the romance public, she did hint earlier this year she may have a new man in her life.
Cabello has embarked on a solo career after a somewhat acrimonious exit from the hit pop group Fifth Harmony.
LAURA DERN AND BARON DAVIS (RUMORED)
Shailene Woodley’s Big Little Lies co-star Laura Dern may also be dating an athlete – NBA player Baron Davis.
At this point, the two were only spotted out and about once last December in Beverly Hills, where they were seen sharing some serious lip-lock and cuddly embraces, Many were then hoping Dern might take Davis with her to the Golden Globes as her date, but alas, she went solo. A source close to the actress told People, “They’re good friends.”
Dern and her husband, musician Ben Harper, divorced in 2013. She was also once engaged to Billy Bob Thornton, who broke that off abruptly to marry Angelina Jolie.
Meanwhile, the New York Knicks player split from his wife, CAA agent Isabella Brewster (sister of actress Jordana Brewster), last summer.
DANICA PATRICK AND AARON RODGERS
Star athletes Danica Patrick and Aaron Rodgers have been dating for a few months now.
The NFL quarterback has been spotted supported Patrick at the NASCAR Daytona 500 Cup, giving her a kiss before the race, and they’ve also gone on a romantic Mexican vacation together in February. Most recently, Rodgers helped celebrate her 36th birthday at a unicorn-themed party.
Patrick confirmed the relationship in January, telling the Associated Press “Yes, Aaron and I are dating,” says she met Rodgers in 2012 at the ESPYs. She also joked that she had been a Chicago Bears fan but now she’s all about the Green Bay Packers. “Now I am probably going to cheer for the whole team. Take out the word ‘probably.’ Now I’m going to cheer for the whole team.” Natch.
NICK JONAS AND ANNALISA AZAREDO (RUMORED)
Nick Jonas seems to be enjoying his dating life these days. Several rumors have been floating around about who the singer/actor has been seeing, but his latest hookup recently happened in Australia – and it was with a gorgeous mystery brunette.
Jonas was snapped Down Under making out with a local named Annalisa Azaredo. They were spotted going on a bike ride (which scraped up her knees after a tumble), then hanging on the beach. Finally, they were seen engaging in a serious kiss at the end of the day.
Last year, Jonas was romantically linked to Victoria’s Secret model Georgia Flower and has previously dated Kate Hudson. His longest relationship with former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo. The two split in 2015 after dating for two years.
SAM SMITH AND BRANDON FLYNN
Singer Sam Smith and 13 Reasons Why actor Brandon Flynn are just the cutest couple.
The two have been more open about their romance since the beginning of the year. They were snapped sharing a kiss on the streets of New York in January and then joked around in London with an over-the-top smooch.
“On a personal level, I’m in a relationship right now and for the first time, I think I deserve to be happy,” Smith told V magazine earlier this year of his relationship. “I’m actually asking myself if I’m going to be writing some happy love songs soon.”
The Grammy-winning singer most recently talked about his relationship with Flynn with UK’s The Sun. He smiled, “I am having a really beautiful time right now. I am in a really happy headspace and learning so much. It’s everything I’ve ever wanted or dreamed of.”
DANIELLE MALTBY AND PAUL CALAFIORE
When reality TV stars meet! The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise alum Danielle Maltby couldn’t find Mr. Right on those shows, but instead found love with Big Brother star Paul Calafiore.
The two made their relationship public with a couple of sweet Instagram posts at a wedding earlier this year. “Melting,” Maltby wrote while Calafiore, who appeared on season 18 of the CBS franchise, captioned a similar photo with “Wedding season” and a red heart emoji.
As for taking their romance public, Calafiore explained to E! News, “We went back and forth about it for a long time. We wanted it to be right. We didn’t want people digging their fingers into it and interjecting opinions… We wanted to enjoy it because we are definitely a little crazy about each other.”
Maltby added, “We’re so crazy about each other. He’s my favorite person.”
DANE COOK AND KELSI TAYLOR
Funnyman Dane Cook has found love with singer Kelsi Taylor.
The two have been quietly dating since last year, posting a few cuddling pics on their social media while on vacation in Hawaii.
While some eyebrows have been raised with the age difference (he’s 45; she’s 19), Cook doesn’t care and has gushed about the singer. “My girl @itskelsitaylor is one of my favorite people on the planet. She’s a talented singer but more importantly, she’s a genuine person. Check out her music and get to know her. She’s gonna go far!” Cook captioned a photo of the couple in April to support her aspiring music career.
The actor/comedian was previously romantically linked to Julianne Hough and Racquel Houghton.
