San Diego Comic-Con 2019 happened just a few weeks ago and the Marvel Cinematic Universe did not leave their fans empty-handed. After presenting the beginning of Phase 4, fans got to learn about the new films as well as actors who will be joining the MCU within the next two years, both on the big screen and Disney+. However, one actor who a lot of fans, as well as people at Marvel Studios, want to join the MCU, is the one and only Keanu Reeves.

At this point, it’s only a matter of time before Kevin Feige officially locks Reeves in for a major role in the MCU. Whether it’s in a film or a future Marvel series on Disney+, anything is possible. With that said, there are several heroes and villains that have yet to hit the MCU that Reeves would be excellent for and these are our suggestions.

Black Bolt

Even though Anson Mount played Black Bolt on the short-lived Inhumans series, Marvel TV shows are barely acknowledged in the MCU. Even though Mahershala Ali played Cottonmouth on Luke Cage, he is now set to play Blade in the larger MCU.

The TV shows that aren’t produced by Marvel Studios are basically in their own world. With that said, the film division has a fresh start to bring in the Inhumans and if anyone should play one of their most famous characters, it’s Reeves.

 Dracula

Since Blade is being introduced to the MCU, his first film is going to have to start out with a bang. You can’t get bigger than opting for Dracula as the antagonist of your first Blade film.

Someone as big as Mahershala Ali could use a powerful fellow actor to clash with. While it remains to be seen where Blade is being eyed for in Phase 4, Reeves as Dracula would be an inspired choice.

Silver Surfer

Fantastic Four is finally back in the hands of Marvel Studios, something fans have wanted for many years. At Comic-Con, Feige made it very clear that a Fantastic Four project is in early development.

Whether it will be a movie or Disney+ series, the famous family is back where they should be. One of the best characters from that mythology is Silver Surfer and if you need someone to play a complex figure like that, Reeves is your man.

Doctor Doom

Going from one big Fantastic Four character to another, we have Doctor Doom. Most of the world is, wisely, choosing to suppress the disaster that was Doctor Doom in 2015’s The Fantastic Four.

Victor von Doom is, without doubt, one of the biggest fan-favorite characters in all of comics. That’s why he has to be done right and Marvel Studios will do him justice, whenever he is introduced. For a legendary character like that, someone like Reeves would be a good fit for that role.

 Galactus

The Infinity Saga had Thanos as the big bad, building up to the Mad Titan and a showdown that will never be forgotten by moviegoers. Now that Thanos is gone, you’re going to need an even bigger foe to clash with Earth’s mightiest heroes.

Since the Fantastic Four property is back at Marvel Studios, they have access to the legendary villain Galactus. Imagine having Reeves be cast in such a prominent role, one that is built up through several films before our heroes go toe-to-toe with Galactus.

Moon Knight

How long have fans and people in the Marvel world yearned to introduce a live-action Moon Knight? Short answer: A really long time. There is one side that wants Moon Knight to get his own film while some fans want him to lead a TV series.

Whether they bring Moon Knight to Disney+ or debut him on the big screen, Reeves could do something amazing for the character’s live-action debut.

Namor

On the subject of other characters that people have wanted to see join the MCU, here is Namor. Since Namor’s world has yet to be explored beyond comics and animation, at some point we’ll have to see him in the MCU.

For someone like Namor, Reeves should be a fun casting who provides the necessary star power for when the MCU, hopefully, explores the character. Whether it’s in his own film, appearing as a supporting character in another movie, or as a Disney+ series, Reeves as Namor would work.

Norman Osborn

While Spider-Man: Far From Home ending with a major bomb; little is known about the third installment. One of Spider-Man’s biggest foes is Norman Osborn - the Green Goblin - who has yet to appear in the MCU. Whether it would be in the next sequel or even a second Spider-Man trilogy, having Norman be brought in as the big mastermind needs to happen.

Should Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures choose to re-introduce Norman, casting Reeves in a role likely to warrant a fleshed-out story would be really neat.

Adam Warlock

Loyal fans of the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise know that Adam Warlock is just waiting around the corner. While Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 wasn’t revealed at Comic-Con, everyone knows that once James Gunn finishes The Suicide Squad, he will get started on the Vol. 3.

Since Warlock is almost definitely going to be in it, having Reeves join the next Guardians adventure could be one of the biggest addition to the franchise of all time.

Mister Fantastic

Since the Fantastic Four is back home with Marvel Studios, the iconic family has to be done right and that goes for all of the members. Reed Richards, a.k.a. Mister Fantastic, introduction to the MCU needs to be handled with grace.

Who better than Reeves to join the MCU as Reed? While it might be a while till the Fantastic Four project happens, you could have Reeves appear as Reed here and there while building up to their big team film.
